🦑 Acer Aspire Laptop Battery Not Charging

Batteryhas been sitting at 61% charged for almost a month (windows reports not charging, does not charge with laptop off). Laptop will not turn on without power adapter connected and instantly powers off when the charger power plug is removed. Attempted fixes-Updated BIOS to version 1.09 (was 1.03) 1 Tried to uninstall and reinstall battery driver - Not working. 2- Press and hold for 60 seconds the power button without battery - Not working. 3- Format Windows 10 - Not working. 4- Format from Windows 10 to 8 (Factory default) - Not working.
