It just don't measure anymore, but used to work (last time worked was in 18/11/17). Firmware Version: 5.40.0.0 Jul 22 em 15:13 I tried to restore defaults but didn't worked. Since there is no more Fenix 3 HR forum, I will post here! With the 5.40 update (even earlier) you've just broke the 3 HR! Every time it's connected to Garmin Connect IQ, the watch just restarts continuously, the altimeter it's bouncing every minute (+/- 10m), the battery drains much faster (watch is new, purchased in APRIL 2019).

Garmin Fenix 3 HR review: Notifications Activating Bluetooth to sync to your smartphone is fine as it doesn't really affect the battery of either device to any large degree.
No Garmin products feature a built in music player. The only one i know of is the Tomtom Spark, which i found to be a tad dissapointing in ever respect other than it s ability to play music. Personally i use a sandisk sport, does the job and is nice and light.
